Mac Mini M6: Power and Thermals

This page is a stub. Package power, temperatures, and fan behaviour for the M6 Mac Mini will live here, but I do not have a number I trust yet.

powermetrics on this M6, under the latest macOS, does not properly report CPU package power. Every capture returns 0.000W for the CPU package, from idle through a multi-minute all-core load. GPU power still comes through. That is a tooling gap, not a chip that draws nothing, and I am not going to estimate a wattage or build a thermal story on top of a missing one.

I will replace this page once CPU package power can be measured properly. Check back.
